Microsoft Windows-11 is designed to provide better connectivity, better apps, and increased cybersecurity for the hybrid workplace.

When the world’s most used operating system Microsoft Windows announces a significant software upgrade, it should cause a lot of interest in the digital workplace. Microsoft claims that its new operating system, Windows-11 provides a solution for the future hybrid workplace, where people split their work time between home and the office. Wangui McKelvey, General Manager, Microsoft 365, claims that hybrid work and learning are here to stay and argues that Windows-11 will make it easier for people to work from anywhere that has an internet connection. Microsoft also claims that Windows-11 is easier for IT Departments to manage and offers advanced security to address the increasingly complex cybersecurity environment. Microsoft has realised the core requirement of hybrid work is better security, good connectivity and better cybersecurity across all devices, phones, tablets, laptops and PCs.
