US Army has introduced a new program that recognises qualified recruits with job-specific civilian certifications or training, enabling them to go into the service with modified training, and at a higher rank than their peers.Learning Outcomes:

- Understand that recruits come into Defence with differing qualifications and experiences
- Develop strategies to exploit differing skills and experiences of new recruits
