Australia's unrestricted airspace was a drawcard for South Korean and Japanese air forces aircraft, enabling them to practise air-to-air and air-to-ground missions whilst improving interoperability in large force scenarios.

  • Six South Korean manufactured upgraded F16s (KF-16U) participated.
  • Five Japanese F-2As also took part.
  • Pitch Black Enabled Japanese and South Korean personnel to gain experience working with other air forces.
