- In the US, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) states ultra-lights less than 115kg with a maximum speed of 101km/h can be flown without a pilot's certificate.
- The Jetson ONE offers 20 minutes of flight time on a full charge and can continue flying after losing one of its propellers.
- On-board software will attempt to prevent dangerous flying behaviour, slow the vehicle down as it approaches the ground, and use a Lidar (light detection and ranging) system.
