BLUF

The deployments occurred from 1,300 feet and operated successfully in Sea State Four conditions. A new release mechanism improved synchronised load separation reliability increasing capability into difficult to access areas. Modular design supports flexible deployment.

Learning Outcomes

Innovation:
Illustrates how new engineering approaches can create practical capabilities by combining airborne delivery systems with autonomous maritime technology.

Strategic Thinking:
Demonstrates how integrating existing transport platforms with emerging technologies can improve operational flexibility and reach.

Technology Awareness:
Introduces advances in autonomous surface vessels, aerial delivery systems and release mechanisms that broaden future deployment options.
