- Explain how leadership responsibilities can create social distance and contribute to feelings of loneliness, even when leaders are surrounded by supportive colleagues and stakeholders.
- Recognise the impact of loneliness on leadership effectiveness, including how withdrawal and unproductive rumination can reduce engagement and create a cycle of increasing isolation.
- Develop strategies to build and maintain trusted peer relationships outside formal reporting structures that support emotional processing, resilience, and sustainable leadership.
