Pentagon to publish open-source software stack for 5G, 6G network innovation

The Pentagon will release an open-source 5G/6G radio access network software stack to accelerate military and commercial innovation, enabling developers to build customised wireless capabilities and improve spectrum efficiency and AI-enabled network management.
