Both Air Force CCAs now in ground testing, expected to fly this summer

Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCAs) will fly alongside aircraft like the F-35 and F-47—also known as Next Generation Air Dominance—to expand the reach of the US Air Force’s (USAF) limited fleet of crewed fighters.

• Understand that CCAs will begin to play a major role in USAF’s strategy of denial. 
• Explore how technological advances in un-crewed combat is adding to the lethality of air power.
