BLUF

The U.S. Air Force’s 2025 Department-Level Exercise demonstrated large-scale, multi-domain operations with 400+ aircraft and 12,000 personnel. The aim was to improve C2, allied interoperability, and to enhance the rapid deployment of forces.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Evaluate how large-scale, multi-domain exercises inform RAAF/ADF command-and-control structures, operational coordination, and decision-making processes.
  • Assess the benefits and challenges of allied and partner integration in regional air operations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance RAAF/ADF rapid force projection, sustainment, and mission command for complex scenarios.
