Oversleeping isn’t usually the problem itself. Seven to nine hours remains the healthy range; sleeping much longer often signals underlying physical or mental health issues rather than causing them.

  • Identify oversleeping as a potential indicator of underlying health issues rather than a standalone risk factor.
