Anduril’s YFQ-44A collaborative combat aircraft (CCCA)demonstrates rapid development of semi autonomous, mass producible CCA. Flight tests validate manned–unmanned teaming concepts and signal a shift toward autonomy enabled affordable mass in air combat.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Assess how CCA mass-production and autonomy could reshape Air Force structure, sustainment, and industrial mobilisation requirements.
  • Examine potential Air Force tactics, command arrangements and airspace management practices for safe, effective manned–unmanned teaming in high‑threat environments.
  • Reflect on current PME, training and acquisition checkpoints that preserve core aircrew judgement while integrating autonomy.
