"StormBreaker" is a smart bomb with pop-out wings that enhances the loadout and targets struck per sortie by fighter aircraft.

Summary

  1. "Network-enabled" munition.
  2. Certified for F-15E, F/A-18E/F, and F-35.
  3. 21,610 planned for the US Air Force and 5,800 for the Navy.
  4. First operational use in 2021 with contract completion expected in 2028.
