Australia’s implementation of the Second National Action Plan (NAP) on Women Peace and Security is lagging.

Summary

  1. NAP to ensure rights of women and girls are prioritised during Australian responses to overseas crises. 
  2. NAP is in response to UNSCR 1325 – Women Peace and Security.
  3. Australian Government has responsibility to implement NAP.
