The MQ-4C Triton high altitude, remotely piloted aircraft arrived at RAAF Base Tindal on 16 June.

Summary

  1. The aircraft AUS1 will provide the ADF with long-range surveillance.
  2. The MQ-4C Triton and P-8A Poseidon will operate as a ‘family of systems’.
  3. Australia is acquiring four MQ-4C Triton aircraft and support systems.
