Air and Space Power: Develop an awareness of how aircraft capabilities, training systems and pilot development contribute to air power. The article examines how different aircraft can be matched to specific training requirements while maintaining operational effectiveness.

Military Management: Develop an awareness of how technology, innovation, resources and future development affect capability. The article considers how limited aircraft, instructors, flying hours and funding can be managed more efficiently through a different training model.

Communication & Cognition: Develop an awareness of how cognitive processes support decision-making and critical thinking. The article argues that modern air combat places increasing importance on information processing, situational awareness and decision-making under pressure.
