This article suggests ways that the USA government can—by restructuring its bureaucracy—become more effective in dealing with cyber and technology threats and attacks.

This article argues that the USA is ill-equipped to deal with threats to National Security. To improve the USA's Whole of Government approach to cyber and technology—the USA should appoint a Deputy National Security Adviser (DSA) to coordinate innovation and technology in the following areas:

  • Defence
  • commerce
  • Diplomacy
  • Commerce
  • Science & Technology
  • Aviation
