NASA’s newest space telescope blasts off to map the entire sky and millions of galaxies

The SPHEREx telescope will map the entire sky in infrared light, observe the collective glow from billions of galaxies, and study the aftermath of the Big Bang. The mission also aims to explain galaxy formation.
