The visit provided the Committee with an overview of the Allied Air Command’s role in securing NATO airspace and highlighted how integrated air and missile defence, and multi-domain air power were central to collective deterrence.

  • Awareness that Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) is the core framework enabling persistent protection against evolving air and missile threats.
  • Understand that airborne early warning capabilities are critical for situational awareness and C2.
