The Navy is adding four new air-to-surface missiles to the aircraft, including the stealthy AGM-158 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM).

Summary

  1. The other three weapons are the AGM-158C, the AGM-179 and AGM-114.
  2. Lockheed Martin manufactures all four missiles.
  3. It is hoped a stealth fighter armed with a stealth cruise missile will be able to strike assets deep inside enemy territory.
