The South China Sea is a hotly contested area of geopolitical significance. For years, ASEAN and China have been slowly forging a path towards a peaceful resolution, but various issues continue to handicap the process.

  • Understand the strategic importance of the disputed South China Sea, and the long-term efforts to reach consensus with an aggressive China.
